***Andrew is the Champion***

Andrew wins Glo Health U23 Irish 1500m indoor championship. Andrew ran 4.02.20 and was a clear winner by two seconds. A terrific win for Andrew and a terrific boost for the club. Crongratulations Andrew from all at Willowfield.

Ryan Henry qualified for the final of the U23 400m at the indoors. Ryan ran 52.72 to finish third in his heat and qualify for the final. Ryan ran 52.83 in the final where he crossed the line in 5th place.Well done and congratulations from all at Willowfield.

Race Over the Glens - New Years Day
Ghislain Demeuldre had his second competitive outing of the holiday season finishing 124th in the popular trail race. Ghislain (M45) ran 00:50:41. There were 401 finishers in the New Years Day event.

Castlewellan Christmas Cracker
Willowfield’s Ghislain Demeuldre, teamed with Johnny McGrath of North Down AC, finished 97th in the execellent Castlewellan Christmas Cracker. The race had over 350 teams and requires athletes to pair up with another runner to complete the course.

North West Cross Country, Gransha
Only Robert Wilson made the trip to Derry for the NW race. Robert (
M55) ran 24.31 and finished 115th and was 3rd in the M55 category. The race was won by Declan Reed (City of Derry) 18.47.

Uneven Age Groups Irish Cross Country Championships
Tough day for the u17 girls but they dig in to bring Willowfield home in 7th place. See results page.

A second win for Dylan McBride (Brooklands PS) in this well supported series. Good run from Harvey Kane (Andrews Memorial PS) who takes 10th place and Olivia Porter (Andrews Memorial PS) is 52nd in girls race.

Apologies for leaving out Deans result. Dean(37.49) took 7th place and continues to get back to hid old form. Good run Dean.

Great day at Decthlon 10k for Paul and Chris 2nd November 2014
Paul Rowan(33.43) had a great win at the local 10k road race and he was accompanied on the podium by Chris Moren(35.31) who had a great run to take third place. Well done guys.

DP and MW at Dublin Marathon
David Proctor and Matthew Wilson was among the 15000 field in Dublin. David finished in 2:58:54 and Matthew Wilson 3.13.03.
